The learner ethnicities which the college defines and collects from its learner population is entered here and mapped onto the ILR Ethnicity codes, for each Funding Year. This enables the same local code to be kept across years, even though the ILR codes linked to them can change year on year.
This enables the college to use its own local coding structure for internal college management information, while still supplying the required codes to the ILR.
The mapping is performed manually by opening the Yearly Values screen which can be opened by selecting the Yearly Values button on the ribbon.
